Lightburn is an amazing piece of software that has so many features that are extremely helpful, but can be easily be missed. One of those features is the Frame Continously option.

In Lightburn, when you click on the FRAME button, the laser module moves around your material showing you where the image is going to be engraved/cut.
This is great because it allows you to position your material just right.
However, the problem with this is that you pretty much never get it right the first time and you have to keep pressing the FRAME button over and over until you have your material correctly positioned. It can be particularly annoying if your computer is a bit of a distance from your laser.
This is where the FRAME CONTINUOUSLY option comes into play.
As the name suggests, this option allows you to frame your material non-stop and position your material without having to keep clicking on that FRAME button over and over and over again.

Here’s how you set it up…
All you need to do to get this to work is click the DEVICE SETTINGS option from the top menu.

From the pop-up that appears select the FRAME CONTINUOUSLY option and click OK to close the window.
Now bear in mind that this pop-up window is specific to a particular laser. So if you have more than one laser machine and want this option to apply to one or more of them, then you will need to check this setting for each.

That’s it, you are done!
Now when you click the FRAME option, the laser module will frame your material continuously until you click the OK button on the pop-up.
