6 Laser Cutting Designs for Dad

We all love our dads, don’t we, and we like to show him that we are thinking of him. But it’s often a challenge to find projects to make that are masculine and not all flowers and butterflies, not that there is anything wrong with that if your dad loves flowers and butterflies, but I think you know what I am getting at.

So it was great when we found these designs on Creative Fabrica, and we thought they would be ideal for Fathers Day. However, you could make some of these projects for any occasion, and not only for fathers, but any time you need a masculine gift.

1 – Workshop Sign

So why not a workshop sign to tizzy up the workspace. For this design we used the following machine and settings.

2. Fathers Day Card

Now this is a lovely card for men who love to Barbecue.

• Material – Card Stock
• Speed – 1500 mm/min
• Power – 40%
• Air Assist – OFF
• Line

3. Wood Coaster

I don’t know about you but I don’t think you can ever have enough coasters. This project is made with wooden coasters we got from our local hardware store. I think they are great for the outdoor setting.

4. Bookmarks

Bookmarks are always handy. Dad can pop one in his notebook when taking measurements or simply when he is reading his favourite book. These are made from plywood so they are nice and sturdy.

5. Keyrings

Key rings never go astray. Men always seem to have so many keys. My husband had a ridiculous amount of keys. I don’t think he ever tossed one out even when he no longer had the thing the key belonged to.
