When you open Lightburn, you will always be presented with a default font in the FONT section in the top menu bar. This means that as soon as you start typing text, it will display that default font which is usually going to be ARIAL.

However, you may regularly use a different font and are tired of having to click the drop-down to change it. With that in mind, we are going to show you how to change the default font to suit you.

Step 1: Click the SETTINGS option
Click on the SETTINGS option from the top menu bar.

Step 2: Click the FILE SETTINGS option
From the pop-up that appears click on the FILE SETTINGS option to access the font settings we need to change.

Step 3: Select the FONT
Click the drop-down next to DEFAULT FONT and you will see a section for changing the font.

Click the down arrow next to the font and choose your preferred font.

OPTIONAL: You can also change the default font height by clicking the up or down arrows next to the DEFAULT HEIGHT option.
Click CLOSE.
Step 4: Shutdown Lightburn & Restart
Close the Lightburn software and reopen.
You should now see the default font showing in the FONT section.
